Designed For Use In Hazardous and Harsh Environment Conditions
Intrinsically safe fire detection equipment is defined as "equipment and wiring which is incapable of releasing sufficient electrical or thermal energy under normal or abnormal conditions to cause ignition of a specific hazardous atmosphere mixture in its most easily ignited concentration".
- These manual fire alarm call points have been designed for use in hazardous and harsh environmental conditions. The GRP enclosures are suitable for use offshore or onshore, where lightweight combined with a high level of corrosion resistance is required.
Keeping Everyone Safe Against Explosive Gas
Our addressable callpoints offer many unique features, including the ability to signal the condition of the switch contact associated with the break glass. The callpoint has been specifically designed to protect against explosive gas and dust atmospheres. Additionally, the callpoint has been developed to comply with EN/IEC 60079-0:2018 and EN/IEC 60079-11:2012 for Intrinsically Safe apparatus.

Features
- The CP830Ex, CP840Ex and CP850Ex are intrinsically safe callpoints designed for use in potentially explosive gas and dust atmospheres
- The MCP220Ex is a conventional callpoint for use on the ATEX Certified System
Benefits

INTRINSICALLY SAFE
The equipment and wiring operates using electrical and thermal energy below the level that would be required to spark an explosion in a hazardous area such as an oil refinery.
